# Master Thesis

As a part of this work we study the use of neural ranking models for the task of Knowledge Graph Question Answering (KGQA). First, we propose a novel Slot Matching model which exploits the characteristics of knowledge graphs, and outperforms several other baselines. Second, we show the effectiveness of transfer learning based techniques, including the use of pre-trained lan- guage models, and fine-tuning from one KGQA dataset to another. Further, we explore methods to automatically generate natural language questions, and study their effects on model performance. In addition, we also perform robustness analysis via slightly out of domain samples and noisy examples.

# Agent Instructions: Querying This Documentation

If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter:

```
GET https://gauravm.gitbook.io/about/research/master-thesis.md?ask=<question>
```

The question should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
